Lindie and Dawson decided to get married in the fall but mother nature had other plans. It snowed big fluffy chunks for a good portion of the morning and it was gorgeous. It made me think of a snow globe with slowly falling flakes. They really loved how classic the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald was and chose it for their wedding day. Joined by their closest family and friends they said vows and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. I’d have to say one of my favorite parts was the hotel room party they had before the reception. When you get pulled aside and told ‘my friend has a guitar and were having a Newfie party, you have to come check it out’ you know that you have to go snap some pics. Ha.
Oh Lake Abraham you do not disappoint. We decided to take a drive for Kim and Tylers engagement session. They love the mountains so off we went. These two lovebird were so sweet and even brought some fireball to stay warm, ha. I like that thought process. Also their dog Bailey is a bit like wheres waldo in these shots. She is in there somewhere.
Michelle and Benji eloped previously but wanted to have a reception back home so their family and friends could celebrate with them as well. I’m oh glad that they decided to do this as I had the best time ever. Such a fun and loving group they have surrounded themselves with. I’m still in awe of this very well dressed couple who knows how to dance.
My heart is in these photos. I feel very lucky to be able to capture my kids as they are growing, they may disagree at times, ha. Sometimes I have to bribe them to let me follow along and other times they let me do my thing.
Sweet little Scarlet can we start with how beautiful her name is. It’s not a name you hear often which is hard come by now a days. Her big gorgeous eyes like her Mama suck you in right away, she’s such a doll. I’ve known this family for a few years now. Starting with some family photos onto engagement and wedding photos. I’m so happy for them with their new addition of little Scarlet.
Darcell and Tyrone got hitched. Yay. I had met this couple a few years ago when I took Darcells maternity photos. Everytime I see this lady she is glowing, such a stunner.
Cassandra + Chris are having a baby and I’m so happy that I got to take some photos with them. They brought their sweet little pooch. I love how this session turned out.
I was lucky to be part of the Inspired Shoot out held in Red Deer. It was such a fun experience. Here are all the amazing vendors that were part of this.
Samantha and Ali got married in Lebanon and so when they came back they wanted to have a celebration with family and friends here. We went to Magrath Mansion for their photos and that place never disappoints. These two babes are so in love and it shows. I could of shot them all day. We headed to the Italian Cultural Center for their reception where it some serious fun was had.
Ryan and Jacuqi wanted to meet at his family farm and I’m so glad that we did. It was magical out there with the setting sun. We had such nice winter weather. These two are so playful, damn cute and I adore them. They walked in knee deep snow to get to this pond and it was oh so worth it.
Megan and Dan got married at the beautiful Magrath Mansion with family and friends looking on. These two are the sweetest and I had a great time documenting their wedding day.
I’ve been very lucky to get to photograph the Warrens for a few years now and also they are my neighbors. Well as close as an acreage neighbor can be, ha. I’m so in love with their session and we got perfect weather for it as well. We rescheduled because the weather had been horrible so glad we did. Love this crew!
I was so excited to take this gorgeous Mamas maternity photos. All my sunflowers were in bloom and I asked if we could put her in front of them. Kayla has such an infectious smile and I’m so excited for her.
Oh my goodness these two. I adore couples who are just plain old in love and show it. I didn’t have to give any prompts to these two. Kisses and snuggles are their game. Plus they had a horse….a horse!!
Jaime and Jordan are so amazing, we used to live beside them. They are always so much fun and have the sweetest relationship. If she looks familiar it’s because Jaime owns and teaches at Aurora Yoga & Spa in Leduc and Edmonton. We had fun walking in the fall weather and being silly, well they did but I loved getting to shoot it.
We didn’t stay outside too long since it was oh so cold. Damn your cold this winter Edmonton! But on the plus we found a pub to warm up in and have some bevies. Amber and Jaime are getting hitched in a much warmer tropical paradise and I’m a little jealous, ha.
